Construction underway for Northwell Medical Pavilion at 1345 Third Ave on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The facility will offer specialized cancer care services, cardiac care and other medical specialties.

Intercom has been commissioned to supply customized Curtainwall units with these features:

👉 Building envelope system made through unit facades, instead of typical walls (masonry-concrete) and window system – Reduction of construction time and actual costs
👉 Innovative ZIP GFRC panels installed directly on the facades of the units – GFRC panels have a fiberglass net inside for structural reinforcement and to avoid the collapse of the panels in case of impact.
👉 Bird Friendly Fried Glass Unit – Protocol: ABC/Bird-Safe Buildings Alliance Rating
👉 Painted aluminum coating installed directly on the facades of the units
