Project Description

Located in the artsy Chelsea neighborhood, and overlooking the Highline and Hudson River Parks, the Chelsea Modern sports a façade characterized by horizontal strips that protrude alternately to the inside and the outside of the building, and composed of a mix of blued and neutral glasses.
The façade required the design, engineering and fabrication of 67,000 ft² of Unitized Curtain Wall WICONA, glazed with various vision-tinted glass.
The Chelsea Modern speaks to the physical and cultural transition that’s happening in Chelsea, becoming an urban gesture that is both connective and dynamic.
