Project Description

A 39+3-story and 392 foot tall tower, The Greenpoint will host a collection of rental residences at Brownsfield, on Brooklyn’s
East River waterfront. The building includes two 6-story rental buildings.
Plans for the building, designed by Ismael Leyva Architects were first filed in 2009, after the developers secured special permits from the City
Planning Commission. In exchange for the right to build so big, the developers promised to create a 22,000 ft² community waterfront park and playground, which in order required the reconstruction of the whole waterfront bulkhead.
