Project Description

Intercom Facade unveils its latest project in Milan [Barona’s district – M2 Famagosta area]: Thetris.

We are leading the design, the production and the installation of curtain walls and exterior architectural metal panels for the new tower called TheTris (Ex Skydrop), as well as glazed parapets and refined finishes to realize the whole building envelope in compliance with the highest energy and quality standards.

The new high rise building project will have a total area of 40,000 sqmt, developed in three modules and more than 100 meters high. This is part of the master plan of “Reinventing City” in Milan.

The project, conceived in compliance with the highest energy standards, aims for LEED & WELL PLATINUM certifications.

Some data of the project:
– The podium curtain wall units are of considerable size: 1,7 x 9,3 m (5.6 x 30,5 ft)
– Internal aluminum claddings and steel structures
– Development of an efficient enclosure system, well adapted to the building’s function, and optimized for its unique microclimate (WTT analysis and punctual coefficient of shadin – RWDI) .
– Our units are assembled and glazed in the shop, ensuring precision and quality. Then, they are shipped to the job site ready for installation on floor slabs.
